Remove the excess.Find the form.

Group and private classes in Old Riga, next to the Dome Cathedral. I work with the body the way a sculptor works with clay: layer by layer, without rushing.

In the workshop I shape clay, on the mat — the body. In both cases the task is the same: remove the excess, keep the form.

A sculptor removes everything unnecessary until the form appears. In yoga the principle is the same — only the material is you yourself.
02 — PHILOSOPHY

First stillness.Then movement.

A form is born in a sculptor’s hands gradually: through attention, touch and the ability to remove what is unnecessary. It is the same in yoga — everything begins with the ability not to hurry, to step out of the rush.

That is why we start with the breath. With a pause. With a simple question: “What am I feeling right now?”

03 — SOUND

One more language — sound.

There is a language in which I hear a state especially finely — sound. Gongs, crystal and Tibetan bowls and other instruments help create a space where the body and the nervous system let go of the excess and remember what balance feels like.

That is why my classes include a special savasana under live instruments. For many this turns out to be the most valuable moment: after real work, it matters to allow yourself a full release and let the vibration move through the body.

04 — PRACTICES

Sessions & practices

90 minMon 10:00 · Wed 19:00

Recharge with energy and calm in a group yoga class — with breathing practices and a savasana under the live sound of crystal bowls, gongs and other instruments at the end. Suitable for all levels. After class — tea with a view of the Dome Cathedral.

60 min

Full attention on you: asanas are adapted to your body and goals, with breathing techniques and meditation for deep relaxation. You can come as a pair — with a partner or a friend: the class is the same, €80 for two, membership €280.

60 min

Sometimes you need a reset, a way back to yourself — that is what people come to me for most often. An hour under the live sound of gongs, crystal and Tibetan bowls. Contact technique — the bowls rest directly on the body, so you do not only hear the vibration, you feel it inside. Non-contact — the sound works around the body and creates a space where letting go actually happens.

Comfortable, stretchy clothing that does not restrict movement. Avoid clothes that are too baggy or too tight. Yoga can be practiced barefoot or in socks — no shoes needed.

I provide mats and all necessary accessories for every class. If you prefer to use your own — bring it along.

Any of them: the group class works for every level, and I adapt the asanas to each person. If you’d rather start calmly one on one, begin with a private class.

The frequency depends on your goals and schedule. I recommend practicing a few times a week to see results.

Yes. That is what the class is built around: breathing practices, gentle movement and a final savasana to live instruments, so your nervous system has time to slow down.

Yes. Private classes can be adapted to specific areas of pain or discomfort.

No. Yoga is suitable for everyone, regardless of flexibility level. Classes are designed to accommodate any level of experience.
